What to do?

Many questions in mind.
Don't know what to do!
Don't know whom should I ask!
Not able to move on..

Looking ahead for a bright future
But swinging between my past and present..

I expect some miracle to happen..
My brain says "I'm a fool!"
My heart says "Your life will change like the way you wanted it to be!"

I always feel God is with me,
I never lost my faith
I still hope.. for the good to happen
Sometime later, some day, I expect to come back.. and I want to write..
" My life is like the way I wanted it to be. "

Love you Daddy

“This father’s day, I am expressing my love towards my dad by participating in the #HugYourDad activity at BlogAdda in association with Vicks.”

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LgKaWMRtnBI

I'm going to write something which I've never done before.
In India, even now there are people who don't want a girl child. There are people who laugh at those who have a girl child. And in our area, there are many such people. When I was born, such people said "Oh, another girl child!" to my dad. But he never felt any burden in my case. He always wants a girl child. I'm his little princess. We shifted to another town which is away from my dad's working place because he wanted to provide good education for me and he used to travel to his work place every single day of the year without feeling tired. And after returning home, he never felt that he should take some rest. Instead he always played with me, whatever I wanted to play. He used to clarify all my stupid doubts while I do my homework. And the bedtime stories... He never felt bored or he never felt asleep, not even on a hard working day, and used to tell some very interesting stories about our mythology. I don't say that he used to fulfill all my wishes. He actually gave me whatever I wanted even before I ask him. He knew what's good for me and what's not. So, I never asked him that I want this thing at any cost because I know, he would give me that if I need it. If he don't want to give me anything I asked him then it means that he wants to give me something more precious. He taught me to be an independent girl. He taught me to be courageous.

"Daddy,
Now as I stay in hostel, I miss all those days. I miss every single thing about being with you. There is no such moment that I forget you. I miss travelling with you. I miss watching old movies with you. I miss fighting with you for really some silly things and the laughs which follows those fights. You are my best friend who always encouraged me. Without your support, I would never have achieved anything. I miss you daddy!

I know that you made many sacrifices for me and compromised in many things. I know that you never felt bad for that because, I know, your happiness lies in my smile.
On this father's day I promise you that I'll never let you down.
With A Big Hug I want to say, Thank You for everything, I Love you Daddy! " :-)

Dream The Ultimate

You can be whatever you dream of!
Not with all your effort at once,
Work constantly and make sure that you do what's enough for today!
You know that you can do it.
Remove all the negative thoughts in you
And show this world what you are!
One must jump over the hurdles to win a race.
Likewise, you must pass through the path of thorns in your journey.
Never lose any opportunity which leads you to your dream.
There may be ocean ahead of you to swim or an abyss behind you,
Whatever it may be but never give up in the middle.
One day you will wake up to find that you are the one you dreamed of!!!

Best friend of every person.

Most of you can guess the topic of this post by merely going through the heading "Best friend of every  person." Yeah, you are right. I'm talking about Teddy-bears. :-)
Kids love them the most. We may give many toys to kids but Teddies have their own registered place in kids' heart. Not only kids, even grown-up people love these teddies.
But do you know the story behind these teddies?? Well, some of you might have heard it but let me write it for those who don't know about it.

Nearly 110 years ago, United States President Theodore Roosevelt, went on a bear hunt in Mississippi to which he was invited by the then Mississippi Governor Andrew H. Longino. The President enjoyed nature and being out in the woods where animals lived. The people organizing the hunt wanted to make sure the hunt was successful.
But after 3 days of walking and climbing and riding, no bears were found. Now what? The President's bear hunt would be a failure! The next day the hunt guide and his hunting dogs finally found an old bear. The dogs and guide followed the bear for quite a distance until the beat was very, very tired. The dogs attacked and injured the old bear. The guides tied the beat to a tree and called for the President. Here was a bear for him to shoot! President Roosevelt looked at the poor old bear and said "No!" No one would shoot this old bear for sport. That would not be right. However, the bear was injured and suffering. President Roosevelt ordered that the bear be put down to end its pain.

A political cartoonist by the name of Clifford Berryman heard this story. A political cartoonist draws about current events in the news. Mr.Berryman drew a cartoon showing how President Roosevelt refused to shoot the bear while hunting in Mississippi.(You can see the cartoon drawn by the cartoonist in the picture).

After
this famous cartoon appeared in the papers, a shopkeeper, Morris Michtom took two stuffed toy bears which his wife had made and put them in his shop window. He had an idea.
Mr. Michtom
asked for permission from President Theodore Roosevelt to call these toy bears "Teddy's bears"(because Teddy was the President's nick name). This store eventually became the Ideal Novelty and Toy Company.Other stuffed animals were made by a German company, Steiff. An illness left Margaret Steiff unable to walk. She refused to be stopped by her handicap and earned her living by sewing. First she made stuffed elephants, then other animals. In 1903 an American saw a stuffed bear she had made and ordered many of them.

So, this was the story behind the origin of teddy bears.

I love my teddy bear a lot because it was with me when no-one was there. It never leaves me. Even if I don't care it sometimes, it always looks into my face with a pleasant smile. I can play with it at anytime. It listens to all my stories. It never complains. It is my best friend from childhood. My memories of childhood are linked with my toy friend. I wish it had life...

P.S.: If you have any memory regarding toys(in your childhood) share it with us. Please do comment your views.

:) Welcome to my blog :)

Welcome to my blog. :-)
I don't know what to write and I'm not sure whether I could write something which makes the reader stick on to reading till the end of the post. Still I want to write something which I can't express directly to this world.
Any kind of suggestions or comments are welcome.
